It is all too easy to take things seriously when it isn't always necessary to do so. At the end of the day, 90% of the things that society tells us are important are totally made up in an attempt to impose control and order, and when you take away the whole being a functioning member of said society thing, most of them are pretty pointless. Maybe a lot of life is pretty meaningless, and maybe we should embrace that! Memes, naturally, are an important place to turn when embracing the lighthearted side of things in the face of whatever the heck is going on with this existence business. They poke fun at anything and everything, allowing us to lighten up for a little while and remember that it isn't that serious most of the time. They are here to enjoy the moment with us, and nothing more than that.
